Create eye-catching messages
In message delivery or customer service replies, sometimes you need to make key points clearer and more noticeable. At this time Markdown syntax can come in handy. With simple symbol combinations, you can easily apply bold, italic, headings, strikethrough and other effects, even create phone or email links.
Please note thatMarkdown syntax only applies to real-time chat channels. Other non-real-time communication platforms (for example LINE, Facebook) are not supported and may not display correctly or may be ignored.
Even though the LINE iOS app itself currently supports some Markdown, messages sent through LINE Official Account will still be ignored.

How to use?
To makemessages appear in styles such as “bold”, “italic” or “heading” is actually very simple; just apply Markdown syntax in the message template or input box:

Usage tips
Style symbols not separated: When using Markdown markup, if style symbols and text are not properly separated, the subsequent text will be interpreted as the same style range, causing the entire segment to be styled.
Incorrect example:
Please follow **Step Two** to **confirm and then submit the form**👉 This will interpret the entire phrase “confirm Step Two and then submit the form” as bold as “confirm Step Two and then submit the form”.Correct example:
Please follow **Step Two** to confirm, **submit the form** and then complete the process.👉 Output result: Please followStep Two to confirm, submit the form and then complete the process.
Heading syntax requires a space: There must be a space between the heading symbol (
#) and the text, otherwise it will not be recognized as a heading. Example:#Heading→ Cannot display heading style. Correct practice:# Heading.Combining bold and italic: When using three asterisks (
***text***) to wrap text, both bold and italic effects will be applied. Ensure the opening and closing markers are symmetrical to avoid formatting errors.Message application scope limits: Markdown styles only apply to messages sent from the system side. Text entered by customers will be presented in its original style and will not be automatically converted to Markdown format.
