About email attachments

When representatives reply to or contact customers via email, they can upload files and deliver them to customers in different forms. The system currently offers two methods of delivery; representatives can choose one according to different situations, and the system defaults to link-based delivery so customers can click to download files if needed.

Attachment type

Type	Description	Example displayed in Gmail
Link attachment	The file is uploaded to the system and attached to the bottom of the email body as a URL.
Embedded attachment	The file is uploaded to the system and sent as a standard email attachment, but it may be subject to client-side attachment size limits.
